As a Wal-Mart manager I don't have very much to do during the day, so I browse SF to pass the time. I am glad you're glad.

When this happens, I do my best to be as rude as possible to the person, so that they wont come in again and buy the clothes that i want.

Drop 8? get the **** out!

No need to be rude , just ignore the guy, drop him in the middle of the conversation and start with someone else...

Nothing is worse than being ignored.

That's bad!

What happened, what did you do?

Some entertaining stories... An interesting project would be to go to a dept. store and deliberately single out customers (one at a time), and ask them sales related questions. You would surely see how different people react when put into the situation, and perhaps get a major reaction that you, in turn, could adopt when placed in that situation in the future.

A few years ago, I was standing outside a hospital when a car with a young couple and an infant pulled up. The mother looked to be struggling to get her baby out of the car, so I naturally assisted her. I was puzzled when she didn't offer to take the baby back. I figured out that she must have confused me with the non-existent staff. Knowing the procedures inside-out, I helped her check in - the staff knew me well, figured out what was going on (or assumed they were friends of mine) and smiled. Only after her husband returned (who had managed to park the car by then) did they realize I was just being helpful. Nice couple and nice baby - elevated fever, runny nose and a cough. Despite taking all sorts of precautions as I normally do when I am in a hospital or clinic, as I was holding the baby and looking down at him, he gazed up back at me and sneezed ... right in my face. I came down with a cold the next morning.
