Are there any go to brands for good quality, non-adjustable shoe trees at a reasonable price? I recently purchased a pair of loafers from Gucci, who don't seem to sell trees. Given that they are loafers I think an adjustable length tree (I.E. the ones that supposedly cover a few sizes) would put too much pressure on the heel and mess with the fit. Crockett & Jones' trees are very nice, but they seem to be quite pricy these days. Ideally I need a brand that is readily available in the US. Thanks!

Woodlore is my go-to recommendation. Not entirely sure what you mean by "non-adjustable" - the Woodlore trees are spring-loaded and cover a range of sizes but they haven't adversely affected the way my shoes fit.

Only fitting one shoe size rather than a range of sizes is what I mean by 'non-adjustable'. The springs on the trees which fit a range of sizes sometimes seem to be too powerful, in turn stretching the shoe. I will check out Woodlore nonetheless. Thanks very much!

I am not sure I've seen fixed shoe tree sizes that weren't intended for a specific manufacturer's last. These do tend to be more expensive and actually I'd worry more about a lasted tree improperly stretching a shoe that wasn't designed around that last than a generic tree like Woodlore's, as lasted trees are meant to fit a shoe exactly.

I have many like these, I prefer this kind of construction. There are several brands online.
