Nifty - I see you bought out the Branchinis from yoox 2 years ago... how do you love them / and how's the fit? the lasts are slightly pointy in appearance to me.

How do you like the three colored pair? I thought about the yoox Branchini clearout from 2 years ago recently...

I REALLY enjoyed looking at this collection! The Branchini's are very daring and must be a LOT of fun to wear. The snake skins are just too cool. I recently bought my father some Farragamo snakeskins & he gets quite a few compliments from the Cowboy Boot guys in AZ. By the way, what are those Santoni FAM ankle boots made of? Some kind of exotic, or a great grain calf? Yeah, I almost forgot... the navy lizards are great too. Congrats & thanks for sharing!

good memory, indeed i bought 3 pairs at the time of the yoox branchini clearout. I find they fit a bit large and it is probably advisable to size down have a size. But that said the leather is of good quality and is not showing its age at all. The pair of branchini boots get worn every week - fortnight and are going strong 4-5 years later on the original soles. The leather is much more crease resistant than my vass, which i have to say creased up quicker than any other shoes in my collection.

The santonis are just a really large pebble grain i believe. I am a big fan of FAMs and i would highly recommend them if you can find them in a nice last with conservative patterning.

Thanks for all the positive comments, i am trying to stop buying too many pairs, i am only 26 and should focus on the mortgage, but I blame SF and the shoe Appreciation thread in particular for adding more "must-haves" to the list. I still need to scratch the EG itch. And the russian reindeer Crispin's monks of a few pages ago are giving me ideas.....
