why?



I wear an orthotic so that might be the reason though they are 11EE vintage width and very comfortable.

Recently I ran into a treasure trove of Arch Supported vintage shoes. Some makers had entire lines of Arch Support shoes, Wright is one.

Yes some vintage make have very good arch support,
much better than new rtw shoes.
Modern rtw leave out arch support so more people can fit in the shoes.
Modern shoe is more mass product now.

Many shoe website make wrong claim on construction now,
Bentivegna is abuse word now,

PRECISELY the reason why I favor Vintage. Much of what is out there now is very "cookie cutter". For the prices that are routinely charged, I don't want to see someone else out wearing the same shoes I am.
