This just occurred to me - why has the SF Buy/Sell become so popular versus the almost non-existent sales forum on AAAC? As recently as 2-3 years ago I can remember post counts being similar between the two forums. I would think that would equate to relatively equal chances for success between the two buy/sell forums??? Could it be the relative lack of margin on re-selling Stafford button-downs and Jos. A Bank pleated chinos?

IIRC we have more than 10X as many members as AAAC.
EDIT: And because this site is the greatest.

I think that the Thrift Exchange on AAAC (on the Trad. Forum) is humming along very nicely, although it doesn't have anywhere close to the volume of transactions as B&S here.

Really? I do. Well at least in part. Post count prereq is pretty lame too.

While the AAAC sales forum is usually empty, the AAAT "Trad Thrift Exchange" thread (or whatever it's called) is always hopping..lots of traffic there.
