Y u inseam so short Geller denim?! 33" inseams.... blah.
You'd shatter every illusion I've ever had of you if you were able to shimmy your calves into Geller's denim, anyway (nohomo?).
edit: Also, there's a Geller thread in the B&S forum with a lot of basics from both the main line and Seconds at really good prices.
I got measurements for a tapered pair with a buckle back that had the hem at 7.5" which is the same as my N&F WGs, so I figured they might fit. The point is moot though since the inseam is too short.
You should get a calf measurement too because the leg opening is pretty much the same size as the rest of the leg from the knee down.
Yeah? Even on these (http://blackbirdballard.com/Robert_Geller_Tapered_Denim_in_Clay_20638.html)? The measurements make them seem positively roomy to other kinds I've seen.
Those certainly look roomier, but I've never dealt with those in person myself so ?
The taper is fairly sharp from the thigh to the knee, and then they're pretty much straight from the knee down:
Another interview to add to the pile. This one was from Scoute.org talking about the Fall 2008 collection.
Another random tidbit: Robert's wife Ana Beatriz Lerario-Geller , who also runs the fiftytwo showroom, "Lerario Beatriz" fashion line website is back up after being down for a bit.
C21 downtown has a rack of geller at the moment. All 50-52. Saw a couple of those blue/green vneck leathers.
uh oh. Might have to make a trip today
Damn you, New Yorkers. Damn you to hell
Report back on your finds, bows.
