Oops meant *ghostface, sorry! I really do love the coat, I took a risk on sizing and that's all on me. I'm guessing the difficulty would be taking in the shoulders?

ha, no worries.

there are two main difficulties. one is recutting the shoulder closer in to the body. it can be done, but requires someone who is skilled. this will be easier than it otherwise might be, though, since it's a soft/unstructured shoulder. the second difficulty is in shortening the sleeve. if the tailor shortens from the cuff, you lose some of the laced part. if he shortens from the shoulder, it's more difficult (and more expensive), and you run the risk of throwing off the sleeve pitch.

So... hypothetically, if there is one piece from previous Geller collections that you missed out on, and would like to have, what would it be?

The FW09 washed cotton bomber, by far. Both the purple-navy and black colors that Blackbird carried were excellent. I also prefer the round metal buttons on this one vs the larger toggles in more recent editions (though that waxed/coated bomber is also great).

Been trying to track one down for years without any luck. I believe @nicelynice has it.

Hopefully this is more than "hypothetically". :)

@ghostface Wow, I totally forgot about the lace cuff making it difficult to alter the sleeve length. By the way, do you know where I can get a good replacement lace for the cuffs?

any walgreens-type place should have some waxed flat black laces. there's nothing too special about the laces he uses in the cuffs.

although some may consider it sacrilegious, you might also consider just cuffing the sleeves to deal with the extra length. that would remove the dangling laces (which are sometimes cool, sometimes annoying), but you'd still have the criss-cross detail visible.

You kiddin' me I'll take the trucker vest bleach shorts square print sweater richard pants and that fuckin geo print hoodie.

Just realized that was my last hope for a 44 ladder tank though :(

There should be more coming for sure, they told me they were getting the random dot shirt.
Maas & Stacks will have more stuff online soon too

The pictures definitely don't do the wool bomber justice. Especially the one with the button-up. That said, I'd still put the FW09 cotton version above it.
