My guess is that Seconds was previously seen as a 'basic' diffusion line and maybe offered secondarily to the mainline.
But now they're pushing it harder as a companion line - and the slightly lower Seconds prices (to me) and possibly higher mainline pieces create a clearer delineation - but the symmetry in patterning and colors helps link them together.
(This seems supported by a few stockists just listing Seconds as Robert Geller)
Maybe they are also combining the orders as one chunk, buyers can mix and match from either line with minimums.

At least, that's what it seems like to me from my limited understanding of 'The Fashion Industry Thing'.

Maybe someone with more direct knowledge can learn us.

yea pretty sure m&s only carries 1 per most items because every item i've bought even when it was just put online the size was gone right after.

you could e-mail and ask how many they had. i like this season of geller but some of those prices are ridic the button shirts aren't bad but all the pants wtf??

all you bigger guys are lucky because size 44 almost never makes it to sale especially if its a excellent piece.

It's not like he just steps out of the shower in his bath robe and hits the "launch" button, and sits back to enjoy the mayhem.

Or is it? Haha.

I do like to throw on some clothes, and my new kicks. Was thinking about my SNS Herning Ion sweater too, but it's about 95 F outside, so I decided to pass on that.
