How timely that you started this thread today! I just received my 2nd pair of Paraboot. I've had a pair of "Michael" shoes that I've worn frequently the past few years as my casual fall/winter shoe and recently wanted to give one of their sleeker designs a try so I picked up these Chambords in an alpine grain. They are a bit tighter across the toe than my Michaels but my Michaels were always a bit too loose.

Chambord is my favorite Paraboot model. Incredible shoes.

^ I love my Michaels but they definitely fit large. I ended up switching out the laces they came with for something a little more flat and that has let me keep them laced up a bit tighter and they also don't loosen up over the course of a day like the regular laces do.

I was surprised how much of a difference that it made just changing them out. They still fit a little large, but paired with a nice thick pair of wool socks, they work perfectly for the fall and winter.

Hi looking for some sizing advice. I bought my first paraboot shoe a few months ago - the rousseau model. Looks like the Avignon but with raised leather where the split toe is. I assume the Avignon is same last as the Rousseau. I am interested in the Chambord model. Is a 8 in the Avignon the same length as the Chambord? What I have read the Chambord has a larger toe box. No one around here sells paraboot so looking for some of your experience on diff models

    Thx!

I am surprised this thread has not gained more traction - Paraboot seems to be on the rise in the menswear world.

If I am a UK8 in C&J lasts (eg 348), should I size down half a size in Paraboot Michael? I hear they fit large.

I wear 10.5 in EG, and prefer 45 on Michael. Michael is tighter on the toe box, and 44.5 is definitely too small for me.

Ironically, one of Paraboot's strong suits (in wintry conditions) is the range of off-the-shelf models with lug soles. Apparently traction doesn't get much traction around here!

North American distribution is another matter. Props to Frans Boone for email responsiveness and accurate delivery projection.

How are the US sizes? Im a US 9/EU 43, and the size charts confuse me. What size should I get?:)

I wear 11 US on EG and 45 on Michael.
I'd guess 43, but your feet may be different.

What size do you wear in other brands such as Alden, C&J, Tricker’s, viberg? I am a 9 d or E in Alden Barrie and 8,5 in paraboot.
