Hi everyone,

So, I recently had the chance to try on a Cesare Attolini sport coat, in a size 48: it fitted me like a glove. I've also tried some other jackets in the same size, and they all fitted me pretty well.

Given all this, do you advise me to size up with the Lamarche LMJ06H, and go for a size 50?

I don't personally, but every measurement I've found has the chest about 10cm narrower than the 253 fit which fits me perfectly... has put me off even trying it.

Yes, one concern is that its too slim.

That was helpful, especially that it doesn't have the armholes as high as the 254/253. That's one of the features of the 253 that I love so much, because they just feel like a perfect natural fit for my motion, without being tight in the chest.

sorry if this has been talked about elsewhere, but is there a way to decipher what Ring Jacket model a jacket is based on the interior tag?

I have two Ring Jacket products - one is a sport coat tagged size 46 that fits really small (photo 1) and another is a Meister suit tagged 48 (photo 2) that fits a tad big (like i could’ve gone 46). Photos of both tags are attached. I bought both jackets second hand so I didn’t get them from a site mentioning the model number.

You could probably google the number on the tag and see what comes up. Maybe something from their Japanese website will match up

No luck with googling. Figured this forum was my best option besides reaching out to RJ directly, but that may be my next step.

Hi there, for those who work out, how does RJ domestic tend to fit? I'm normally a 36 but I sized up for 38 (had to get sleeved shortened) but I still found it was a bit small on me. Not sure if it was just the model that I got.
