Welcome to the Ring Jacket official affiliate thread. We're the official agents of Ring Jacket in North America and are pleased to join the conversation on Style Forum.

Ring Jacket is new to most of the world, but the brand has a rich history that dates back more than 60 years. In 1954 the company was born out of a passion for clothing and a commitment to quality. The father of the current president loved clothes, and set out to produce ready-to-wear clothing that was of the same caliber as custom- made garments. Ring Jacket is still family owned today, and produces their tailored clothing in-house with a full-canvas construction. They have an eye for distinctive fabrics, developing unique clothes in Japan that are exclusively their own, and collaborating with best mills in the world to round out their collections. When you put all this together, the result is quite cool: a beautifully made Japanese garment with a distinct Italian flavor - classic clothing reinterpreted in a modern and comfortable way.

Check out our website for more information, including our North American stockists, and be sure to follow us on instagram, tumblr, facebook, and twitter. We're looking forward to chatting with you all.

Best,
Nick

Welcome aboard. The Look Book is filled with beautiful garments and timeless design. Do you typically make garments to fit larger guys, too? I am a US 44R and many lines seem to top out at a 54R that is really sized for a 42/3.

Thanks for the weclome, RJS. Guys who like a more classic fit tend to size up in Ring Jacket (though it does depend on the model), but most of our North American accounts stock up to size 56 EU, so you should be good. If you want to check it out in person here is a link to our current stockists.

I know Leatherfoot stocked Ring Jacket for a season - any Canadian stockists on the horizon? Any chance of a trunk show in the near future?

Hi Nick. We're not in Canada at the moment but will be at the newly re-branded Mr.Derk in Edmonton for spring 2016. In the meantime, a few stockists have product online.

First page.

Ring, are you going to be selling direct, or only through stockists?

Edmonton, but not Vancouver? Interesting.

Vancouver is a market that a brand like Ring has a serious chance at cracking.

Hi all - Just wanted to remind everyone about the upcoming Ring Jacket trunk shows.

At present, these are the only two places you can order custom from Ring Jacket, so it's definitely worth a look if you're able to swing by. Both shows will feature RTW in addition to MTM. Ring Jacket representatives will be there to assist, and will have with them a selection of vintage and dead stock fabrics from their special collection. Additionally, you'll have the option to choose clothes from renowned mills like Loro Piana, Holland & Sherry, Drapers, etc.

The information for both shows is below, and if you have any additional questions just let me know.

East Coast

Hosted by: The Armoury
Where: The Armoury NYC (168 Duane Street, New York, NY 10013)
When: Friday September 25th and Saturday September 26t
For appointments: [email protected]

West Coast

Hosted by: Khaki's of Carmel
Where: Le Meridien Hotel (333 Battery St, San Francisco, CA 94111)
When: Monday, September 28th
For appointments: [email protected]
