huh, from what i've come across it would seem propylene glycol is pretty safe, just a lipophilic solvent that doesn't present much health risk below really high dose taken in rapidly.
probably not good for dumping by the millions of gallons but that's another story ...

Yeah marketing's usually able to keep safety lies going for a few decades. Asbestos, lead paint/water pipes, and cigarettes being good historical examples.

I'd love to see any clinical evidence of PG causing cancer, considering that they've been using it in prescription asthma inhalers and hospital misters since the '50's.

Well, it's one of the two main ingredients they use in E-cigs as well, so it gets a lot of focus considering how much vapor people are inhaling from those.

Just saw on Democracy Now around 80,000 chemicals in consumer products in the states, pretty much none tested for safety. The most common carcinogen is propylene glycol which is in most skin products like deodorant. They dumped millions of gallons of this glycol mix in the Gulf Of Mexico after the deepwater horizon oil spew too.

It's very nice, has long arms just how @KingJulien likes 'em, fabric is substantial and soft. The X is much more subtle than those overexposed shop pics would lead you to believe, even better that way. I really am tempted to keep it ... But I shan't , other priorities at the moment. Mercury's been known to be the most toxic non-radioactive element on earth for over a century yet it's still the major component of dental amalgams, although composites are more popular now for cosmetic reasons. I know the medical establishment says mercury's inert inside your teeth LOL, liability of admitting the truth would be close to a trillion dollars. It cost me around $3K to get all ten of mine removed. And ethylmercury's still used in vaccines in the states, some European countries have banned it completely.

Most cited tests were done by the chemical companies, but I understand very few want to lose faith in billion dollar companies LOL. The real pain ********** is learning non-toxic alternatives because you always have to read the ingredient lists.

Many people are employed by companies producing toxic stuff. Their jobs don't necessarily require them to not understand the problem, but may be a problem for those with a conscience. Personally don't believe in assigning guilt because we were all born into a society which on many levels mirrors how cancer acts.
