My pre-owned Weymouths arrived today! Wow, I'm blown away with the quality and condition. I love the soles with the hidden stitching. Plus, there is hardly any wear at all and after a spruce-up with my Saphir reno and wax, I think they look almost brand new!

What do you think?

Congratulations, they look really good and definitely an authentic sole. Enjoy!

Thanks guys.

obviously lovely shoes, but I'm still deciding on the fit. I've only really had them on my feet when the laces were out and I found that they were rubbing slightly on my pinkies. I need to give them some wear time around the house with the laces on until I decide on the fit. Otherwise I'll have to let them go. :(

That would be a shame as they look great. I might get shot down for this but when I've had a problem with a tight fit around the little toe I've had good success with applying a little conditioner on the inside of the shoe where it rubs and with a very tight fit putting in a shoe tree that's half a size larger and conditon. Good luck.

I'm hoping to get my Islay's this week. I've bought shoe trees from Jones here in the UK previously but they don't seem to stock the model I've got any more. Any recommendations from a UK supplier apart from C&J themselves?

Thanks, they look nice but looks like £5 delivery. Has anyone tried these:

Yes, I got those. Bought them at AFPOS a while back.. Even though they look nice on the photos I wouldn't trust them the job of maintaining the Islays .. Something about them is not done quite well, the frontal area is too shallow and the tongue area for example is not sufficient to fill my Boston loafers. Would be additional challenge for the boot.

On the CT website, use
amazon36
at the checkout to get £10 off. £14.90 delivered.

Honestly, they are amazing shoe trees - especially at that price!

Outstanding! Just ordered a pair. Many thanks for the heads up
