So I inherited from my parents house what lokos like a vintage pair of my father's old Pierre Cardin shoes. From the inside label, it states they are leather soled and leather upper. And they are made in Spain.

As far as I know, Pierre Cardin is upthere in the same quality of the cheaper glued stuff (Kenneth Coles, Stacey Adam), but seeing how these shoes have been in my dad's closet for more than 15 years and the condition they are in, I think these are perhaps the "quality" stuff (ie before they sold their label to other manufacturers).

I just polished them with some shoe cream, and if these are decent quality, I plan on getting the bottom topied so I can get a grip when I am wearing them and I don't fall flat on my face.

Topy's are as far as you would want to invest in these. I do like the Pierre Cardin logos on the shoes. I am suprised they did this on their shoes that long ago. Now more and more manufacturers are branding this way. Nice piece of nostalgia.
