The Alex is a Jodhpur boot on the 724. Not widely available, but I know there are a few sizes left on the Bodileys website. Unless I am mistaken, the Northcote is a Crocket and Jones boot on the 348 last.

When I tie my Moores the facings almost touch. When I tie my shoes on 87 last there's just a little more space.

Yes, they have oxford lacing so you may compare the fit with the Moores.

If it may help, rather than in the instep I feel difference in the vamp, between facings and toecap. 87 last has more volume, is somehow 'higher' on my toes than 724 last.

Can anyone tell me how the 87 last compares to the 109 in length? I'm considering to buy Hoxton or Shoreditch.

109 is longer than 87. I would still recommend the same size for 87 unless your feet are very wide and you went half a size up with your 109s. I have a pair of 109s sized up this way and I might still fit into my regular size, which is what I have for my Cambridge boots on 87.

My best AS pair. Check the stitches per inch, pretty impressive if you ask me. And yes, they are - buttery soft - shell cordovan.

Unfortunately too big now due to substantial weight loss which also made my feet shrink.
