Wow, looks good!
is it made in collaboration with Robin?

I know he doesn't work with them anymore but I would love to have some more stuff done by BnT.

Yes it was made with Robin. Then he went underground and disappeared and I had a hard time getting it from BnT but it worked out eventually.

Here are some pics from Sartoria Cresent's recent visit to Stockholm (I picked up a navy Porter & Harding glenroyal jacket, no pics though):

Here are a couple of pictures from my basted fitting with MyTailor/Hemrajani Bros in NYC this past week.

This is my first commission with them, so I opted for the basted fitting rather than the standard MTM in order to get the fit nailed down in the shortest amount of time possible. For the record, I am about 5'8" 220lbs with a a barrel torso and very hard to fit OTR. The suit is Drapers 5-star navy in 370g, I opted for standard shoulders, 2-button closure and a but of drape in the chest. I'm pretty sure that these pictures are from the initial try on before the pinning and chalking as well

this is my first time doing a basted fitting, let me know your thoughts...

I’m not super plugged in to the Swedish classic menswear scene, but I haven’t seen him mentioned anywhere since Crompton’s article.

Did that one article really totally destroy Robin's business?

I ordered two pairs of jeans from him in Jan 2018, I got the fitting pants (which was before the article) but never got the final pair(s), haven't been able to get in contact with him and it's past the date for a paypal refund.

The comments section of the article was pretty negative, lots of unhappy customers apparently. After this and another experience with an etsy tailor, I'm never ordering 'online' MTM/Bespoke again.

For those of us out of the loop, who is Robin and what happened?

Hey all - I'm in the process of dealing with DB commission. I've owned a great many DB off the rack jackets but have never had the privilege of a custom made one. My main gripe with many DB jackets is the button spread is often not proportional to the size of the jacket and is standardized through the line across all sizes.

Most of my off the rack jackets have a 4-4.5" spread. Which my eye sees as quite narrow. Mind you, I'm around size 46-48. What would you consider the normal spread on the buttons?

I've just returned from a toile fitting and it was again 4.5". I've asked for an increase to 5" just to not have it look like 6 random buttons just sitting on my belly. What is the forum's view on this? I know the more modern DB cuts tend to have smaller spreads - but wouldn't this also be adjusted to fit proportions?
