Just a heads up for those in the Phoenix area.

Consignment store "Well Suited" (two locations) will be doing their Fall Reveal tomorrow morning at 8AM. Three things caught my eye...

For 40R wearers in the Philadelphia area, there are two excellent suits at LCNM at Franklin Mills. There is one Kiton in a mid-range grey for about $1500 and an Oxxford 1220 in an air force blue. It was my first time handling the Oxxford 1220 and I came away very impressed. The fit is excellent, but very short.

bro-in-law's office is right to the westfield century city mall so he walked over during lunch break and bought 6 shoe trees for me for $50ish

FYI, if you have a Neiman Marcus Last Call near you, it might be worth a trip this weekend as the entire store is 25% off through Labor Day! I picked up a Hickey Freeman suit (half canvassed, but USA made with the x stitching on the gray label inside) that fit me perfectly. Originally $1495, outlet price $599, subtract 25% then I haggled over an odd looking thread for another 5% and got it for $426. At the store I went to in Paramus, NJ they had 6 styles or so, but only one 40R so my wallet wasn't tempted to grab another one. Tons of other deals too - my wife got a bunch of shoes, kids' clothes that were originally $70 were $15, etc.

Also, the Nordstrom Rack at Paramus had a ton of Allen Edmonds, mostly discontinued models though. I'm not sure they are any cheaper than the current Shoebank sale but at least you can try 'em on. Lots of wide widths too.
