Mauro, the Azzurri are the Rashad Evans of soccer. Effective but very boring to watch.

Screw every other team today. I want to see what North Korea can do.

^^WTF!?! they probably don't have enough stamina to play. It's hard to compete on the world level when you don't have food.

A.C. - boring for the masses but not me. I was impressed. I watch 90% of the games and I like what I saw.

^ I think it would've been a little better had it not been a draw but it was exciting nonetheless.

ETA: Who will be better at theatrics today: Ronaldo or Drogba?

I am disappointed with a tie but I will take it. beats a loss.

Maura, completely agree. They dominated but need to work on finishing. I loved all the headlines saying Italy barely squeaked by. Props to Paraguay for scoring on their one and only chance but Italy dominated. The group is all tied now with this morning's result.

Ivory Coast looking really good, Portugal not what I was expecting. Maybe Ronaldo just needs Rach's support.

) Italy looked solid, if lacking in ideas up front. I'd like to have seen diNatale come in earlier (start?) - not sold on Gila & Iaquinta. Camo looked good off the bench. Playing a good team in a downpour = no stroll. Forza Danielle - he looks awesome in that beard (nh)

Camo suprised me but he really needs to get rid of the ball quicker....I've lost count of how many times he's been dispossessed. I like Pepe's hustle. I have no problems with Gila but he really relies on getting the ball fed to him. Right now our midfield is not too capable of that. Dinatale needs to step up for the national team.

Agree. Di Natale must come on earlier. Camo....buddy has a nice cross then he loses 97% of the balls, he makes too many mistakes when the team is moving up behind and then get them in trouble once he loses it. I think give Pepe some time, Montolivo has to get better cleats

. Best player for Italy.....DeRossi, and not because he score, but his vision this time is something I have seen rarely before from him on the international stage.

Ivory Coast looked vicious during stoppage time. I was certain a score was going to come out of it at any second.
