Wear a sweater under your suit and ask the secretary in the lobby of wherever you are going to help you change your shoes

At least have the courtesy not to "antique" your used shoes before you return them to Polo.

Latest weather reports are showing rain Thursday night/early Friday morning, but clear skies from there on out.

There hasn't been that kind of snow on the ground here yet this winter and there won't be next weekend, either. It's just going to be a little wet.

There have been many street corners in Manhattan that were almost as bad, however.

I agree that based on the forecast, the street corners will probably not be like that this weekend. But it's better to be prepared for anything.

I think the weather forecasts have changed 2x/day every day...but it's looking better than it was a couple days ago when they forecasted rain all weekend

I'm seeing part 3 of "Re-packing for NYC" tonite...

I don't own any rubber-soled dress shoes. I'm planning to wear Tingleys over my dress shoes if the weather is rainy and remove them (and put them in a messenger bag) when I go indoors.

Perhaps a G&G order is in order?

Welcome to the northeastern United States in February/March. This is the time of year when I basically give up on my leather soled shoes for a few weeks.

Today's very nice - sunny, low 40's, vestiges of last 'snowstorm' have all but disappeared...

Same in upstate New York. Although we're nowhere near forgetting the snowstorm...at least 6 feet still on the ground in parts.
