funniest is sending Wade back to Miami for a 2nd round pick (after Bron convinced him to go to the Cavs for less $$$)
Just guessing but figure the theory is it’s primarily cap space so Lakers can add LeBron plus whatever other pieces he wants, and/or flip IT to a contender who wants another scorer down the stretch for a draft piece or more complementary player. Plus Magic comes out of retirement.I’m mystified about this notion that the IT trade helps the Lakers get Lebron. Ok, it opens up cap space, but IT was run out of town because Lebron and the other Cavs hated him (for good reason too). So why would Lebron sign to play a guy he hates whose game is a poor fit for his?
And if the Lakers let him walk, then why would Lebron, the ultimate front runner/super team builder, sign to play with Lonzo and Kyle Kuzma??
