There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Did LBJ loose the ball in air because of the run in or did Plumlee actually nick the ball, hence, refs calling it a clean block prior to their hands sweeping each other? I saw all hand in the replay, but at the top of the screen if you watch the rerun on NBA.com, one can argue the ball got nudged prior to the collision.

both the Plumlee brothers have seriously big ups, and many many fast twitch muscle fibers :tounge:

    http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Mason-Plumlee-5231/

by sheer raw numbers Miles is even more impressive: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Miles-Plumlee-5261/

^Mason is a legit 6'11.25" with out shoes (but his wingspan is also only 6'11") also his standing reach is 9'0" and max vertical at 36" is higher than Blake Griffen's.

    best thing about it;
it was 1point game and there was still time left(more than 3s) to foul and get off a shot

Isn't the hand considered part of the ball?

this is just awesome… what a bitch.

regardless of hand begin part of the ball (which it is) I think if you watch very closely you can see "Plums" (lol) ring and maybe pinky finger bending back when the ball arrives indicating he was on the way up and encountered the ball first before making the block which ultimately was a good block. It's too close anyway and a good no-call. If they were to call any foul would have been on the floor with the little hand in there. Even then there were still about 3.5 or seconds left while LeDooshe is waving his arms around like a whiny ass bitch. Awesome.

I wonder in what league the act of impeding a shot by hitting someone on the palm and wrist is not a foul? I can accept the too fast or too close to call excuse, but to say that's not a foul is too much.

Incidental Contact: The mere fact that contact occurs does not mean a foul has been committed. Players are allowed to contact other players when reaching for a loose ball, or when performing normal offensive and defensive movements. The hand is considered “ part of the ball” when it is in contact with the ball and contact with a players hand when it is in contact with the ball is not a foul.

That was a foul. Had the roles been reversed and LeWhine been called, he'd have been in that GIF waving a rule book open to page 74. The guy gets the friendliest whistle ever and still whines to kingdom come.

What about contact with the wrist and palm, impeding the forward motion of the shot, causing the offensive player to lose control of the ball?

I would agree with your interpretation if Plumlee stuffed the ball first, and in either his or Lebron's follow through, their hands or arms made contact with each other afterwards. The typical enforcement of "incidental contact" is to not call it if the outcome of the play was not affected or had already been decided.

    it's not my interpretation. it's the nba's

I'm not really sure where their definition of the hand begins. yeah i dunno it's a tough call but i don't think it's strongly in favor of a foul

He doesn't have to stuff him. He hit the ball first, LeB missed, game over. And tonight's game it over as well. Good game Memphis :D

The Heat might blow home court advantage through the East playoffs.

And it's not because Indianapolis is making a charge.
