Top song. Probably my favourite on who sell out
It is one of the better songs on that album . I've been a Who fan most of my life but I only bought The Who Sell Out when it was re-released in double disc format around 2009 . I had a look at a book called The best 1000 albums of all time and low and behold they had included The Who Sell Out , apparently the critics loved it , l began to wonder what l had been missing all those years. .

I played drums in a few punk type bands. And to me ( being a drummer) I loved the premier drums advert/ jingle.

I could use those laces, though. The Clarks I have have dark brown ones, and I can't find sand-coloured ones anywhere.
I've always liked the square saddle-leather laces with deserts.

Both are absolutely great albums. Those two and “The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society”, which is my favorite from the era.
Yeah there is a certain charm to that album . I was always more of a fan of All of the Day and All of the Night era but a very good friend of mine bought me that album as a present and l loved it . Would probably have never bought myself.

Prefer the Heinz Baked Beans.
Based on Cobwebs and Strange from the Who's second album.
I once read something in the early 7ts that rated Keith Moon as the 3rd best drummer on the planet , however as far as l was concerned Moon was always No1. . .

In the early ‘70s Buddy Rich was still alive, plus you had John Bonham, Carmine Appice, and Kenney Jones. Their talent, finesse, and sense of rhythm smmoooooked Moon’s ability. And I love Moon and the ‘Oo, he was a lot of fun, a madman. But there’s a difference between bashing hard and fast, and, say, the ability to pull off a one-handed buzz roll(almost nobody can do that even today).

You are probably right but l can now only remember one of names above Moon and that was Cozzy Powell . Don't ask me if Powell was 1 or 2 but l do recall Powell got to number 1 in the charts certainly not long after with his track , Dance With the Devil. .
