I've been interested in clothes and fashion since I was a teen -- reading mags, etc. When I think about it, I guess I've always enjoyed the finer details of things -- watches, stereo equipment, clothes, pretty much anything. What ultimately tipped me over was 1) losing enough weight to justify buying a new wardrobe and 2) finding this forum and reading about the details of clothing. It's been a fun and rewarding experience!

Was looking up jeans I think on google, and came across Superfuture. Then got really into it. Before all this, I was always into fashion, but wasn't at this level.

I was doing the same thing with Yahoo and ran across this forum. I purchased my first pair of Rag and Bone less than a week later.

Man, I bought my first semi-premium, semi-artisanal, semi-expensive, semi-sartorial denim just slightly less than three years after joining this forum.

I guess G-Star raw denim counts... right?
At $55 plus tax, they are the most expensive pair of jeans I've ever purchased.

i'm a girl, been into clothes since i was dressing myself. Used to be into fashion and stuff. Went to an all girls private school. We had uniforms and stockings and hats and everything. [Most highschools have uniforms here]

Also, more guys should take more opportunites to dress well. It's harder for guys to ask for dress advice.
