Genuine, earnest question: does everyone wear their boxers that low? That's a lot of pelvis.

I will say that the fact that people wondered if you were fat should tell you what you need to know--the jacket's too small.

I've always used the Pythagorean theorem when pulling up my boxer shorts in the morning.

True, but nothing that a call to Mariano wouldn't solve.

5-6%? That's laughable...I concur with the fellow that said 12-15%. Around 10% and below, you should see ab definition, and you have none of that.

I also agree that the jacket makes you look fatter than you are.

True. Some hypotenuses are longer than others.

And some of us don't have a hypotenuse.

I want to look good but I don't want my outfit to be the center of attention. The problem with TB is that it's over-exaggerated that you pass the point of stylish and enter the point of clownish/desperate to be noticed. Plus I l prefer to wear clothing that flatters my appearance not diminishes it. Nice try but back to the drawing board.

One can lengthen one's hypotenuse a few different ways.

It is my understanding that the buttonhole should at least overlap the button somewhat. I once turned down a really nice sport coat because of this reason and it wasn't even as open as this example shows.

I don't see how this would be a problem; in fact, I think it would look downright strange if the buttonhole did overlap the button.
