Thanks for the thumbs gentleman :slayer:

Nice suit.

Thanks!

Noice conservative business dress.

That color-  is it a steely blue-gray-  slightly shiny, maybe a touch of mohair?  There's a color that was popular in movies from the 1950s   (or was it just the film process? i dunno)  u don't see much anymore.  That slate-ish blue  that to me  is so adult.

Kinda like the color of Cary Grant's ventless classic in 'North by North-West'.   I think SButch you've got one or two in that colour

A trick of the light perhaps. The colour is a pretty standard navy with a self stripe and it's 100% cashmere :)

@eviltimeban I always prefer your fits when you use a white tv fold. Looks much sharper, but I understand you probably want to mix it up :)

The Friday Challenge for tomorrow is to dress in the colors of your nation's team in World Cup. As the colors of the USA are red, white and blue, I took that as a cue for the color scheme for today's attire, though I restrained myself from being too literal in this - today's suit is hardly the navy blue of the American flag.

Well there's that but also I felt the white would clash with the cream / beige colour of the tie. The tie has brown, green and navy colours in it so I figured that burgundy would be a good PS match.

But I agree, you can't beat a white TV fold. I'm getting more and more fond of wearing white shirts exclusively. I just don't have enough.

Yes, I'm running on the platform of "a chicken in every pot, and Tom Ford and G & G in every closet".

Sounds more attractive to me than "40 acres and a mule"

Wait, I've got things mixed up...
