All thrifted or secondhand outfit. Sadly, think the sleeves on the sleeve are too short.

Great looking whistle and flute there T but again I’d love to see a more contrasting tie - I’d have gone full power with a scarlet red foulard!
Thanks and fair point on the tie. Although the sun washes it out a bit there and I kinda wanted to make the whole thing look less corporate - I have a weakness for navy and silver combos.

Rained a bunch in the city today. Luckily, I got to work before it got bad and it was trailing off when I left. First wear of this vintage Polo Ralph Lauren trench coat. Believe it or not this is a size small.

Back with another volume of fits I didn't think to post here.

This time its with a plum suit in a superlatively mod style, with a slim fit, tonic fabric, 3 button closure, and fabric covered buttons. Its unfortunately a tragic case here though, since I kind of bungled up the tailoring on it by rushing my tailors into doing a quick and crude job in order to have it ready for a convention. I don't blame them, I blame myself.

Someday I'll buy another suit in as similar a fabric as possible to see if I can do a hackjob with it and sew the fabric from that suit into this one so as to fix it's glaring fit problems.

In the meantime though I have a 1 button suit that's pretty much the same color on its way and I'm letting the tailors take their time with it this time so hopefully it'll come out a lot better.

This image is probably the looking fitpic I've ever taken, but it does a good job of showing where exactly it went wrong with it's tailoring. (slimmed down the jacket too much, the pants are too slim even for a mod suit, and it was obviously easier said than done slimming a 30 inch waist down to a 28. The sleeves were also a rudimentary tuck-in job which caused them to pucker and wrinkle even with my arms at my side.
At least the cheetah to my left isn't having as hard a time looking dapper. You could say he does more with less.

My first fit with this suit, with a shirt I forgot I had bought coming in the same package.

Met a fellow time traveler at the convention.

This is probably my best clip-on batwing. My collection is steadily growing.

Another combo, not really that proud of this one tbh. But a good show of the suspenders I bought. Heh. Button-print shirt with Button-print suspenders. Also, I've been finding a lot of discernably 1960s ties at thrift stores lately. Guess a mod died somewhere in my area. Don't worry, old chap, I'll give them a good home.

Joke outfit I threw together with a leather - yes, leather- bowtie I snagged for 50 cents.
Yes, the picture is supposed to look that bad.

A slightly more flattering pic of this suit. The shirt sleeves were too long for the jacket, as you can tell.
Also, the two different colors of sneakers weren't actually part of the outfit, I took this pic to ask which sneakers would go best with it. My friend said the red ones. Still looking back I'd probably rather have worn some black dress boots If I had any. (Still don't)
Also, I made a paper mache mask for a film project, and also because like I said I'm not too keen on how my face looks sometimes.

A better picture of the combo I'm wearing above. You might remember the shirt from when I erroneously combined it with the brown suit and blue knit tie. Ghastly, I know. It looks great here though. Whole combination is absolutely zany, but strangely coordinated as if each piece were made for each other. Not so! I didn't even buy any of these pieces thinking they would go together, but they all coincidentally had the same hue and shade of turquoise and even magenta. Also my first set of vintage cufflinks+tie bar.

I wore this particular outfit on my 20th birthday. I had suspenders with balloons on them, how could I not wear them for my birthday?

Yeah, I'm doing the "matching your tie to your shirt" thing. Try and stop me.

Tried a more "spezzato" look with the vest and pants from other suits.
Man, my camera is almost as crummy in quality as half my suits.

Day 3 of wearable weather(or so I thought). Pushed a wheelchair and a dog to the Oktoberfest in the neighboring town. Quickly realized that even at night I'm wearing WAY too much clothes. Back to short and sneaks for while. Perhaps I'll check back in when I dust off my sport coats.
