Aren't you guys a little sick of maintaining the "˜pretty little dress' sense? It never stops. You can't win. Some of you (Phat Guido, barims, and others...) seem to have an infinite amount of money. Aren't you chaps sick of competition? Who are you trying to impress anyway? BTW I'm not knocking any of you. Enjoy yourselves. Here's to the helpless addicts. Cheers.

1) I don't think it is a competition. If you do think of it that way I could see how it would quickly become expensive and a pain though.

2) You can spend less money through learning about clothes so you can pick classics that will not go out of fashion, know which products are well made and will last and where and when to get a good price on the clothes you buy. You don't have to buy everything you see on the forum, or compete with others in what you buy.

Also I could be wrong but I believe barims gets at least some of his stuff from thrift shops etc.

Plenty of members buy a lot of stuff second hand, from cheaper brands and during sales and still look terrific.
