3 Custom Shirts for $399.. Our Most Popular Deal Returns

For three days, you can order three shirts for $399. For this round, we have a collection of nine clearance markdown styles. There's textured bizcaz solids, versatile sportshirt checks, two radiant floral flannels, and two handsome graphic houndstooths. These styles are on clearance, and once the promo is over, they're gone for good. Inventory is limited, so try to order early to make sure that you get all of the fabrics that you want.

Whichever fabrics you choose, we definitely encourage you to get at least one piece of the "Woolprince Cotton-Cashmere." The former retail on that was $275 all by itself, so it's a truly incredible deal with this promotion!

Epaulet x Rebels & Rogues VINTAGE 1970S MILITARY JACKETS

Hey guys just added two vintage military jacket to our sale section. These unique vintage US military jackets were sourced from our friends at Rebels & Rogues... one of the premier surplus vintage specialists in the world. The jackets date back to the 1970s Vietnam war era, and it was produced in the United States by Alpha Industries.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS VINTAGE ITEM IS FINAL SALE. We cannot accept any returns or exchanges on this piece.

SHADOW DYED VINTAGE 1970S MILITARY JACKET SIZE 40 REGULAR

We took this piece to our dye house in South Central Los Angeles and dipped it four times in reactive dark grey "shadow" dye. The end result is just incredible! The external fabric takes the dye in a slightly irregular fashion... yielding a beautiful dark color with slight tone variations throughout. This treatment is color fast, but you can expect some great fading with use. Each piece has its own characteristics and imperfections.

This particular jacket measures out as an approximate size 40R. It has a fully functional front zipper and snaps.

THIS IS HAPPENING! We'll go live with it tomorrow. I'm going to dye the suit fabric pieces along with our blankets, so we'll offer jackets, pants, and vests in Natural, Indigo, Olive, and Shadow.

We could do Fluorescent Yellow too if anyone is crazy enough for that! Way more info to come.

Wow, I'm more excited for this than nearly anything that we've done in the past 10 years! Was just sitting down with Ming and realized... not only can we offer fully MTO Sashiko suits.... but we can offer suede elbow patches for them!!

Look at how many color options there are!!

You crazy people have done it! Sashiko/Suit 2021 baby!

Thanks Jeff!! Yeah super excited for this! I think I'll get the item online late tonight and launch it early in the morning via a newsletter.

We're going to have a special launch price, and it will be about $760 for a sportcoat, $1015 for a suit, $1130 for a 3-piece suit and about $235 for a pant. Totally MTO, done with our shapes (Nuovo, Walt, Taylor, Wilhelm, etc) or any legacy Brooks Brothers shapes. 32 liners to choose from!

First round will be Navy, Olive, Shadow, Natural, and Fluorescent Yellow. Linking this Sashiko suiting up to a blanket preorder will give us the ability to offer more colors.

I think that's how it's going to flow. Navy and Natural will be available at full price pretty much anytime (add around 17% to the prices I wrote above). We'll do periodic promos every few months where suiting will be available in other offered colors.

Okay guys, going live in a few hours!

We're not super limited in stock for this, but I have about 50y of Sashiko on hand after making all the blankets. That's enough for around 17 tailored garments in all. We'll get more cloth end of August, but that's going to constrain how many pieces we can make in this first round. So if you want a Sashiko jacket, suit, or pant, definitely order sooner than later.

This is also almost surely the only time we offer Fluorescent Yellow as an option, so don't miss out if you're crazy enough to rock that!

Oh in other news, got the first batch of Blankets finished. We shipped about 15 Natural pieces that were backordered. We'll do the balance once they finish dyeing, which should be right at the middle of August. Indigo will be the first to arrive.

If you missed the preorder but you'd still like a Natural Blanket, we have 10 pieces available for open stock....

CUSTOM JAPANESE COTTON SASHIKO SUITING FROM RTC

SashikoSuitLeader_800x.jpeg

NavySashikoSuitFull_800x.jpeg

Working with our signature jacket and trouser shapes, you can choose an array of details to create your very own custom suit. Each piece will be expressly made for you by the esteemed Rochester Tailored Clothing Co. of Rochester, New York.

Our classic pure cotton Sashiko cloth is woven in Japan for use in martial arts uniforms. Known as Dogi (cloth of the way), this fabric has a thick pique weave with well-defined "rice gain" structure. It's exceptionally strong, breathable, and comfortable. With over 5,000 ready to wear Sashiko garments sold, this is far and away the most popular fabric that we've ever offered. The sportcoat can't be washed since it's half canvassed but the trousers are fully machine washable, being fully cotton.

For our custom program, the cloth is dyed in Los Angeles and then sent to RTC in matched, coherent dye lots. When it's received, it's steam pressed and detailed. The final garments are preshrunk, and perfectly matched in color tone when you order a full suit. The fabric will have tiny variations due to the thick pique and dye process, but the overall presentation is very consistent and business appropriate. A Sashiko sportcoat is truly distinct from anything else out there!

Rochester Tailored Clothing is based in the original Hickey Freeman factory in Rochester, New York. Dubbed "the Temple of Fine Tailoring," this storied facility has operated for over 120 years and boasts a peerless team of skilled craftspeople.
