Corter Leather: New low profile Skinny Belts Corter's new skinny belt design uses all of the same features as the Corter standard belt, except it is cut to a slim profile which is only 1" wide and uses a smaller nickel plated roller buckle to fit the slimmer width. The 1" width is perfect to fit throught the belt loops of most chinos and pants and can also be worn with your favorite denims. Corter belts features an English bridle leather that is imported exclusively for Corter. The leather is a 16oz vegetable tanned leather that has skived down to approximately 12-14oz. The leather then is hand cut and finished with a strong nickel plated roller buckle and two Chicago screws. It is a simple design, but quality and will withstand time and abuse. The black version is oil dyed in house, the natural is kept simple and will darken with wear.

So poor lol...

Only thing I'm slightly worried about is the bottom card slots because the cards stick out quite a bit even when inserted fully... In past experiences when I've had cards stick out a lot on the lowest slot, they tend to crack very easily (my wallet goes in my back pocket)...

My Corter bracelet came at the end of June and has had a heck of a month, including dips into both the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean. I'd have pictures, but, well, California was too awesome for my camera to handle. After last weekend's marsh kayaking, the bracelet had some white stains on it from salt water; they seemed kind of stuck there all week, but I've been able to wipe them away this morning with some water and my fingers.

It's also browned really well, probably because I've been out in the sun a lot.

Now, if Eric would just respond to emails about what else I want...

Beautiful!! I've had a couple cards crack on me as well. Yours look pretty well protected with that thick leather hide though :p

You gotta be kidding me. Have you tried to contact him? Did you inquire about the build time upon placing the order?

jesus

maybe it was better to just cop the extra $$$ and get it from tanner...

Have you gathered that Corter is not a factory like Tanner? It's one guy...handcrafting leather items out of a small studio. That's the reason *why* people buy from him instead of Tanner.

And it still has not come..I totally understand how it works if there is one person hand crafting the products, etc...but he actually told me via email like 3 weeks ago that he had shipped it. I keep inquiring as to why it has not arrived yet and Eric just keeps saying that it should be here soon - doesnt make sense though, no shipping method would take 3 weeks for something to get from the New England area to Richmond, Virginia...He could have walked it down here by now. Very frustrating.

I'm all about supporting the little guy....small businesses and all that - hell, I dont even mind waiting a lengthy period for a hand crafted piece...but I place a lot of value in integrity and I just dont feel like he has been honest with me.

Similar experience here, ordered a bracelet on the 23rd Aug, not here yet, although he says it has been shipped a few weeks back.
