CG have a photo of someone famous wearing their shoes. Zoom in and what do you think? It looks like a rubber sole (well the heel is anyway) and the back part is clearly not a hand/bench/custom shoe. Maybe they had it made to his specs, but to think this is a GC shoe needs a bit of imagination!

I was looking for these boots by CG and Kingsman at mrporter.
After reading this thread I would assume they are made by Alfred Sargent. Are they made in AS main or handgrade standards? And would they be above or below C&J bench and hand grade?


I believe these boots are made to regular or exclusive standards, as the last appears more symmetrical as compared to the handgrade lasts.

I took receipt of my first pair of Cleverely's today. Happy with the fit. A few finishing blemishes that aren't great, but won't be there in a few months. Biggest issue was the lack of the requested toe taps...so these will probably be going on another trip.
