Can i please get some sizing help.

Im interested in this pair of GC.

My sizing- 7.5 in C&J and 8 in all Carminas.

I heard GC run more narrow than c&j which os why i am unsure if i should go with the 8 or 7.5.

Any insight is appreciated

these look great. is this your 1st commission with GC? After all your the negative reviews here always happy to see someone getting shoes that turned out great. How was your experience ?

They are. And yes, some of the negative experiences did concern me and maybe I'm the exception but had nothing but good experiences from the commission, measurement, fitting, and delivery.

Only one way to settle this: ask C&J directly!
15 years ago they happily volunteered exactly what othertravel said when I visited their shop with a bag of RTW Cleverleys I had just purchased. I was there to browse, not to interrogate their private label work, but they were quite open and cheerful about it.

Doesn’t hurt to ask, unless your intent is to steal trade secrets. My intent is to talk shop and give them my money.

This is the kind of shoe that spends its last days in a thrift shop, where people pass by and make jokes about it.

If it's a Nashville thrift shop it would be last Day, not days.

Wonderful store. I hope they still have their great attitude.
Decades ago I was trying on shoes there. I have very wide feet
(as noted in other threads) but the left is at least a size wider than
the right. So, a pair I liked fit well on my right foot- probably an F or G,
but the left was too tight across the widest point. So, they offered to make
a left shoe bespoke. I did not take them up on the offer as I was traveling
and had no plans to return to London at a definite time. I wonder if they
would still make such an offer today.
