I just wanted to congratulate Cavour. I've seen them around SF for a while now, and even though I live in Norway I never bought from them before.
So I recently purchased one of their wool pullovers and I am actually impressed. The quality is excellent and the fit is just perfect.

I just grabbed the Mod 2 - Sportivo Cashmere Down parka. I've been on the fence because I really don't need it but couldn't resist any longer. Will report back.

Question for you guys on the RJ TAJ-02 fit.

I wear both the Cavour Mod1 and 2 comfortably in size 48, would you recommend going size 50 in TAJ-02? I also wear an RJ AMJ-03 in size 48 as well.

This jacket is TAJ-02, so in this fit I had to size up from 48 to 50 and then adjust my waist. 48 size could have worked, but it was a bit snug overall and short to my taste.
I didn’t look at the model but I also had to size up to a 52 in TAJ-2 as well. The jacket is a touch long on me because I have short arms but mine is a suit so I don’t mind. The other aspects fit perfectly though, a 50 would’ve been too snug all around.
I would say true to size, but slim.
I wear the same size in RJ TAJ-02 as I do in Cavour Mod 2.

But the way that it is cut makes it easier to size up if you want a little more room, without it looking weird.

I can only comment on what I own as I don’t own the Mod2. I have an older Cavour Mod1 suit, jacket fit perfectly in a 50, pants did not but that’s my issue lol. I am also a 50 in AMJ-03/01 but might have been ok in a 52 in the 01 due to the structure in the chest/shoulders.

Personally I don’t think I would be comfortable in a 50 in the TAJ-02, I think I could’ve made it work but the 52 was close to perfect.

Please don’t mind my wonky right arm, but here is the TAJ-02 with no alterations aside from shortening the sleeves/adding buttons and pant cuffs:

Thanks buddy, that's awesome! I have not been able to fit the Mod1 or Mod 2 pants properly either so you're not alone. Will need to send them off to the tailor to let out the waist and seat once covid restrictions are down.

Of course!

For me even letting the pants out in nearly all directions on the Mod1 they were still too tight but as Kevin has mentioned there’s more seam allowances in general IIRC. I just haven’t taken the plunge yet on a Mod2 but I plan to.

Can't comment on Cavour pieces, but I wear AMJ-03 jacket in 48 and TAJ-02 in 50 adjusted in the waist. I had experience with TAJ-02 48 size, but I have eventually sold it - it was uncomfortably tight and front of the jacket was short to my taste. My chest is about 99.5-100 cm
