UNIFORM LA CHILLICOTHE WORK JACKET Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Chillicothe Work Jacket is an elevated take on the classic Detroit Work Jacket. Made of ultra-premium 14-ounce Japanese canvas, it has been meticulously washed and hand distressed to replicate vintage workwear that’s been worn for years, and available in three colors.
This just dropped today. If you missed out on the preorder, there are some sizes left, but they won't be around for long. Check out the remaining stock here
Good luck!.

If you mean MTO in general, it’s the same as customization. But if you mean “MTO” from a menu option on Carmina’s website, it’s actually a GMTO (Group MTO).
From what I see, is that
1. Some models are not available in customization tool.
2. Some people might not want to configure things if what they like is already pre-configured in that list.
I never order anything from the (G)MTO page though.
2. In general, why do people purchase MTO shoes? They seem to be the same price as custom, so why not just do it custom and make your own?
The current models in (G)MTO have the customisation fee waived. Expired models are archived and available but you need to pay the customisation fee.
The MTO link is, as mentioned, actually GMTOs where they do a special makeup that groups of people can decide to join. They don't charge the customization fee if you join one of these group orders while they're still running. But probably what you're seeing is past GMTOs. They leave them up on the page, so people who missed joining the group originally can still order the makeup (but they'll need to pay the customization fee, which is why all those listings of past GMTOs are more expensive).
Is there a place I can go to find aggregated current GMTOs to view? I've seen a few GMTOs proposed on this thread, but don't see anything on Carmina's website.
Carmina doesn't have any running at the moment. There's a couple being tracked by users, I think, like the proposed "Calway" boot. But I'd say that by and large following this thread is the best way to find out about them. They occasionally pop up on reddit /r/goodyearwelt too.
For my understanding, Are GMTOs free of MTO surcharge?
What model is this?

Curious about “kid leather.” What is it, exactly and what are it’s characteristics? Thank you!
It's not. Kid or goat is much more gentle than calfskin. Carmina advised me against making a wholecut Chelsea boot in kid leather.Basically the goat equivalent of calfskin, but I'd love to hear more about it from people who own kidskin shoes.
