Good afternoon gentlemen,

I hope you have plans for the weekend.

Now that the custom weekend is over and with no other custom promotions in line. I would like to open up the opportunity of voting and requesting upcoming Private GMTOs.

I have already received some petitions for special leathers etc which I've gathered in a small survey here. Please follow the link to vote for your favourites and feel free to vote for all of them if you find them interesting.

Once we know which GMTO has more votes I'll follow up with colour options, swatches and much more.

We also loved creating a specific model with your suggestions (in reference to the Calway model) and would really enjoy creating some more for you. I've opened a slot for feedback on models you are missing too.

I just voted for
Carmina Shoemaker Imitation Oxford (Lazyman) Model # 80498
as December common GMTO. It would be nice if we could choose a different width for a common model.

Have always been interested in marble shell but not sure how they would end up. Anybody have pictures? Was interested in seeing how the marble shell Vibergs would patina over time but everybody that has them, have them in pristine condition.

There arent a whole lot of them out there at this point. I'd say the majority in numbers are AE. Might be better to look for how the wallets patina since they've been more commonly available for longer and used daily. I'd asume that over time they will drift towards more of a museum calf look or heavily patina'd color 8.

Hi guys. I’m looking at adding lulu/triumph taps to my Uetam Penny Loafers 80191 9UK. It’s too expensive and time consuming for me to ship back to Carmina to do (I’m in Australia). I’d like to purchase the toe taps online as the one cobbler in my city that says he can do toe taps doesn’t have any in stock and asked me to source myself and he’ll just charge me labour. I was wondering what size taps would be required for this particular shoe if anyone knows and can help (or even a measurement of your toe taps on said last and size would be super helpful). Also, lulu vs. triumph, which is better? Sorry for long lost. Thanks in advance.

I would avoid using that cobbler. If he does not have them in the stock then he should be able to order them himself. This all just does not sound and look good. He should able to tell you too what size you need. Just my opinion.

agreed, may be best to check the Allen Edmonds forum for pictures on the marbled. Seems some folks have had quite a few pairs done in the Higgins Mill and others for the past couple years
