Given the consensus on the style for our next 80791 model, we have now closed the voting link.

Option one has been selected as our next boot model. Therefore our artisans can now start to create the pattern, model pieces.. This process will very like take 1-2 months.

If anyone is curious about the other details you voted, this is the result.

As soon as the model is ready to manufacture, we will let you know.

Any suggestions on how to create a GMTO? A regular one in our website in which only the size can be selected or a larger option on GMTOS with the option to select leather, soles, lasts...
I come back to this thread just in time for your announcement of Galway-styled model. Count me in for those who want the second option (That Carmina x StyleForum logo is rad after all).

Also @Carmina, the @George Red custom pattern boots is insane, I want them as well. But do I have to pay extra just as he did for custom pattern?

Thank-you @Carmina, for the insights.

I wonder if this is also a confirmation that SF Carmina aficionados are addicted to shell. Like, we have a shell fever spreading out in here?
I was treated against this addiction. It seems to work with me. The treatment consists of only looking at the prices of shell footwear but, very important, none of the pictures . Now that is hard to do, especially with all the pictures here on SF. There is always a risk of relapse. I also joined a SCA group (Shell Cordovan Anonymous). However I was the only member. I'm trying, I'm trying...

Now for some Chromexcel...au naturel. Soller last. Let me tell ya, I'm glad I sized down, because Soller is huge.

Orange kidskin lining...it's fire. I like the kid better than calf lining.

Very nice! That's an unusual medallion for Carmina and I really like it...I'd been curious about how it looked.

I'm really happy with the medallion. I was hoping for something with a bit of a Tricker's vibe, and I think this succeeded very well.

Do you have any experience of the rain last? If so, how does the soller compare to the rain? The carmina diagram suggests it’s bigger.

I do, but I went TTS on Rain and it's big on me, especially in the instep. I wear them with a tongue pad.

I wish I can go for chromexcel as an MTO. I just know how inconsistent it can be regarding it having lose grain. I am hoping that @Carmina would add a natural cap-toe makeup in the llubi last so that I can freely exchange them if I need to.

What size did you get in the rain and soller? Thanks

12.5 in Rain, 12 in Soller. If I got another pair of Rain I'd probably size down...but I have a suspicion it may just not be a great last for me. Oscar and Forest are both dead on in a 12.5.

Ahhhhh thanks Bamgrinus ! I was wondering myself how the medallion 15 looks like in real !
It's rough as I like !

I'm really happy it came out like it did. I was hesitating to add a medallion at all because I plan on wearing these quite casually and thought most of the medallions look a little too, well, fancy for what I was going for, but I really like how it turned out. I was really aiming for a vibe along the lines of the Tricker's Stow, and I think this succeeded quite nicely in that goal. They're gonna get a ton of wear this winter.
