Does anyone know how to go about buying tickets for a Barcelona game from the US? I've looked at their website but it doesn't seem to be much help. We'll be there late Oct/early Nov and I was playing with the idea of seeing a game if they happen to be playing at home when we're there.

thanks,
bob

i'm just guessing here, but if it were me i wouldn't worry about getting them in advance, unless you want really good seats. you can probably just go to a local bank and buy them when you arrive in barcelona, or possibly just show up at the stadium. or you could ask the concierge at your hotel. i don't think europeans have the same tradition of buying their tickets a month ahead of time, like americans.

I would check with the hotel concierge, preferably before you go.

Ticket availability can be pretty tight. Most seats go to season ticket holders and there may not be many tickets available for the general public. It's a similar story - but even worse - at Real Madrid.

Alternatively, there are plenty of UK-based ticket brokers, a lot of which sell weekend travel packages to Spain including tickets for a match. You might see if you can just buy the tickets from one of them.

Thanks guys. I've heard that most tickets go to the club members so they can be hard to get (though scalpers do sell outside the gates). I'll just ask the concierge (we're staying at a pretty nice hotel so maybe s/he'll have connections). It'd be cool to go, but not trip-breaking. Besides, it's my honeymoon so I'm not exactly sure my (to be) new bride will be thrilled. But she'll probably humor me.
