^^ You should check their website "Vintage Shoe Addict"^^

You may want to message him directly. As you may or may not
know, these are pretty rare (Lotus Veldtschoen Boots).

To weigh in on the other discussion, I had Edward Green's for Holland & Holland
last year on the Medway or Ridgeway sole and was pretty happy in
Minnesota winter. Now I have CJ Coniston with Danite, looking forward to
seeing how they fare in this climate.

Actually I have a pretty good idea, no I just figured if they were that size I have an idea as to owned these particular boots prior to you.

If they are in fact 11 1/2 US or the equivalent cause they are probably in UK sizing then I think I do know.

In fact these exact boots may have very well been one of or actually the biggest inspirations for the latest Galway Zug Boot.

thanks

yeah different boots than mine but love reading the info
as there isn't much on-line about em

No problem.

By the way the same user has another post somewhere where he does some water resistant comparisons with a pair of regular grain leather and his Heather Gorse or Zug boots. If you conduct a couple of searches you might be able to find it.

Here's a little something-something I found a few years back while researching veldtshoes for my book:

Ugh Viberg switched my preorder from stitch down to GYW. I really fail to see what theyre thinking here. As soon as you make gyw boots you become like everyone else. I was really looking forward to these boots.....not a good run for me as of late. Hoping to find a manuafcturer that can follow spec sheets.

Here's hoping it all works out in the end for you.

Note to self......follow these instructions when pre orders change.

1. Take a deep breath
2. Step away from the computer/smart phone
3. Do not press send
4. Make a rational decision and proceed to acquire awesome boots.
5. Acquire said boots and wear the $hit out of them.

dahl5yankees, it's the first classic style book for men up here in Finland. Flusser and Boyer readers will get an idea of the contents, though I did search for and buy other thorough reference books while writing mine. Fingers crossed it will get translated one day.

Well, that special Lidfort pair is still up for grabs in size 42EU...
