He does make it look easy, and it's really not. I know, I have tried. Maybe someday he will reveal his secret.
UNIFORM LA CHILLICOTHE WORK JACKET Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Chillicothe Work Jacket is an elevated take on the classic Detroit Work Jacket. Made of ultra-premium 14-ounce Japanese canvas, it has been meticulously washed and hand distressed to replicate vintage workwear that’s been worn for years, and available in three colors.
This just dropped today. If you missed out on the preorder, there are some sizes left, but they won't be around for long. Check out the remaining stock here
Good luck!.

Kudu or dark taupe - YES!I feel like a fall return of the Dundee 1.0 is in the cards. I imagine that would be a pretty big hit. Acorn, Loden, Kudu, Dark Taupe - give it!
View attachment 912984 View attachment 912985 Going with the second-gen Cronmoks today. Love the look of these. Just wish they were in the leather of the original.

I’ll have to try that, thanks!Bernie - have you tried coating the insides of the shoe with some type of leather treatment? I try to coat my newer pairs the night before with a heavy dose of leather lotion. I put it directly on my hands, as I feel I have more control than when using a rag.
They look great, btw!
Funny; same for me.Yeah, I have the originals in that light brown color. It was one of the few left and my SA saved it for me. I always thought they were ugly in the AE pics until I saw them in person. I get many compliments when I wear either pair.

Mass Drop in chocolate...Love the Dundees, would really like a chocolate suede pair, but....

Kristen said she has access to the MD seconds if you need another pair...chocolate chukkas...Did anyone besides myself get in on the MassDrop Chukka seconds recently, and if so, have you heard anything yet?
Got the chocolate coming from MD, just can't figure out why it takes so long for MD to ship seconds. They must be in stock somewhere.Funny; same for me.

They’re an older pair of Nautica, I think.Love the trousers! What are those?
Can’t you just edit your post?I officially feel terrible about my first post for the 2018 thread in which I posted the picture of the most abused AE shoes I could find and said, "These don't look quite right. Should I return them?" I did not know that Google would select the very first picture in the thread to go along with the "ad" for "Related Threads." The shoes I posted look terrible, especially next to the three pair of Alden shell chukkas immediately underneath. So, @LA Guy, is there any way to switch images so that all of the SF members will actually see a fine pair of AE shoes or boots? The brand and avid members deserve better. My apologies.

I've only read about them on the forum. My understanding is if you keep your expectations to the price point they're good. I have seen as they ramp up production that some quality issues have been popping up. Sloppy stitching and gluing, for instance. I'm fine with some wrinkling of leather at that price point, but there was a horror story of a nail pocking into the footbed. Obviously that was a freak occurrence and shouldn't be treated as common, but it does kind of make AE's nail-less construction sound good! (tied it back to AE!)
The general read I get from the Reddit forum is: Nice shoes, AE-ish quality, good value, can be challenging to break in. That last part is why I'll probably never own a pair - life's too short for shoes to hurt. There's literally nothing left in my closet that hurt me during break-in. Yeah, a couple things were stiff, but no pain/blisters/etc.
Funny; same for me.
