What is the recommended construction for the wool challis? The challis swatches I have feel slightly thicker than the printed silk, but I am not sure it is enough to make a difference.




(An example: Dark Red Pattern Challis Wool Tie #3. Looks even better IRL.)

Hober's grenadines are great! Get the red, burgundy, bitter chocolate and forest green.

I guess width and length are a matter of personal preferance but for the other options, like tipped/untipped and so on, I have no clue. What choices did you go for on your tie and is there like a "standard" option which looks decent?
