What is the recommended construction for the wool challis? The challis swatches I have feel slightly thicker than the printed silk, but I am not sure it is enough to make a difference.
(An example: Dark Red Pattern Challis Wool Tie #3. Looks even better IRL.)
Thank you, sir!
Hober's grenadines are great! Get the red, burgundy, bitter chocolate and forest green.
6 fold is fantastic for those. imo.
Stitch, that grenadine is amazing. I love the look.
Beautiful tie, Stitch.
Which one is it? Is it the bitter chocolate one?
And do you think it would work with either a mid grey or a dark navy suit? (only own two suits...)
Secondly - does Sam Hober make anything close to this RLPL navy polka dot tie? I've got a navy pindot tie, but I like the look of a polka dot tie.
Thanks! Dark chocolate #5
Its perfect for grays.
Agree with Stitch, I have worn mine with both color suits, and think it looks great.
edited because Stitch got his post in just ahead of me
What knot is that? FIH or Windsor?
Half Windsor. Its the only knot I ever tie.
I guess width and length are a matter of personal preferance but for the other options, like tipped/untipped and so on, I have no clue. What choices did you go for on your tie and is there like a "standard" option which looks decent?
Separate names with a comma.
