Still getting high on my own supply. Found this guy this morning. It was hanging up high, where they put the “good stuff”, so I thought for sure that it would be priced at $150 or or more. This place prices their good outdoor gear stupid high, but when the employee pulled it down it had a price tag of $45. Long story short, I now have a new-to-me vintage arcteryx shell.

Would you guys pick up four Canali exclusive orphan suit jackets for $30 a piece?

I scoured the store with no luck finding the pants. All around 54R.
I found a couple myself for $20 each. One has yet to sell, but one of them sold for $250 only a couple of days after I listed it (which was surprising since I've had some Canali sit for a while). Might be worth grabbing if the fabrics are nice and they don't look too orphaned.

For reference, this is the fabric of the one I sold, and the one that has yet to sell is striped (a nail on the coffin for flipping a lot of suit jackets, I've found). Your call, though.

Speaking of Canali...

Can anyone explain this price tag? Definitely not from Canali themselves, but who was charging $1k+ for a Canali shirt? Unless they have an uber-premium shirt line I have yet to come across.

I feel like nice sweaters (especially knits) are very hard to come across in Cali, so this was a pleasant surprise amidst the Goodfellow fodder I usually come across. Way too big for me, but hopefully a nice bit of pocket change if I don't end up gifting it to a friend.

Damn, this thing sold within 30 minutes of listing.

Today the thrift deities were smiling on me. I had "double breasted prine of wales/glen check" on my list of things I was looking out for/thinking about getting and this morning Vinted presented me with this fine specimen: A good condition german MTM suit with cloth from E. Zegna with measurements that make me think that only relatively minor alterations (sleeves, hems, perhaps waist) will be needed to make it fit.

In any case, I think its worth risking the 50€ the seller wanted on this beauty.

Wish me luck in regards to the fit!

You were lucky to buy anything from Vinted without the seller cancelling and doubling the price after you paid. The last 2 things I tried to buy were both cancelled for more money.

Oh wow, that has not happened to me so far. But at least in my neck of the woods most sellers just appear quite oblivious to what they are selling. At least when it comes to suits/odd jackets. Suitsupply Jackets are like 200-250€ with stuff like this suit gathering dust for only 50€, which is already above average...

But im always doing my best to keep sounding too enthusiastic when I see a really good offering to not give them any ideas.

Nice finds guys!

Trying to be a little more disciplined over here. Said I’d stop buying shirts, but when the outerwear dries up I get lonely haha.

NOS MiUS

New brand to me. Don’t seem to do a lot of suiting, but really nice fabric and sexy pocket shapes.

No Harris left behind, even pink/purple

The armor embellishment on this sweater gives, among other things, a squaring of the raglan shoulder. Cool effect.

Fake skyliner haha I gasped at first. Real talon zip though

Nice womens stuff. The capey coat is wool/cash, silk lined. Full body, drapes beautifully. Keep an eye peeled for the brand. The mules are super cool

Great condition for the age. Beautifully rounded big collar. It sits.

Love the irregular wale cord from this Milanese fabric obsessive. The liner is boss with hints of texture in the pattern, and the double layer of cord at the collar and placket respond to your every command. An extremely endearing quality. Feels Documenty.

This “knockoff” point blanket was the best of my recent finds. In such good condition. Great age. Very warm.

Spring has sprung here and I have to put away wool ::whimpers::.

Still plugging away.

That's usually on his "dug all this out of an estate sale... then stopped by a thrift on the way home" type of posts.. And then you see like NOS Marantz components, a pioneer turntable, 1930s-1970s farm/workwear and then at the end is one knockout plaid ISAIA.

Is it bad that I saw this post first and knew who you were referring to?
