They had some I have never seen, the blues with the muted -- almost invisible -- patterns were stunning. I should have gotten one. Maybe next time.

Yup - saw those. Given that Marinella's are now $195 at BG, bespoke Capellis at $150 are a pretty decent deal. I could have honestly ordered two dozen ties amongst the patterns on display.

What did you commission from Solito?

Does anyone know whether they will be seeing new customers on their return trip to new york in march? also, does anyone have the exact dates of that return trip? thanks...

Yes, they will. The intention is to make regular trips going forward (provided that orders are forthcoming). The next trip is in the 3rd week of March.

thanks much. i selfishly hope that it is early that week - if so, i would be happy to provide additional impetus for a regular new york schedule...

alas, i'm currently about 2,000 miles south of new york...wish i had paid more attention as i was back in town friday and saturday...thanks for the info though.

I think they will be flying south then East later today, so you might be able to catch them. They are pretty flexible and customer service oriented. I was out of town, but as you can see, they were very accommodating in conducting a fitting for me during my return flight:

that's definitely a lean cut. not much drape at all...will they use my fabric for the bespoke parachute?

NYC meetups sound like srs business. I don't think we pressure people to buy things over here on the west coast.
