running in the rain and cold (when im insulated of course) is very exhilirating.

Agree, although my cold and your cold might be different. Today it was low-40's and drizzly, and I wound up in normal shorts and a long-sleeve stretch shirt - ditched the wind shirt after a mile. Ah well.

Today, 5.3 miles in 39 minutes. Felt pretty damn good, too.

10.2 yesterday in 71 mins.
Tough run.
8 or 10 today.

Just started getting into running now that I have more time due to winter break.
I must say I hope to make it a daily habit.
Started off with 2-3 miles and some basketball these last few days.
Have shed some time off each day also.
Feels pretty good.
I need to get some running shoes though!

5 mi. at 6:59/each. So nice running with someone with GPS, might have to break down some day and cop.

4.5 yesterday, averaged 7.45 min mile (which is very very fast for me).

Today will be a longer one before more snow hits. Its been super cold.

speaking of super cold...it was 33 outside so I bundled up and struggled a bit. Totally forgot about protecting my nipples and I was smuggling raisins well into the run. Anyway, 6.7 miles in 52:19.

5.22 miles in 45:21 (avg. 8:41 min/mi)

Ran just under 10, froze my arse off.
I didnt wear tights as I had planned on negative splits, 1/3 the way through I decided to run to the lake and do a few hill intervals. Got to the lake and took a few pics, froze ****** in the wind, and it started snowing.

Ran mostly on trails which is a nice change of pace from my typical pavement pounding. Got muddy & had to climb up bluff - had an awesome time!

3 miles, this morning, in a light snowfall. It was fun to see the shoe tracks of other early morn runners and the foot prints of the other critters who were out and about.

^^ man, you make the snow sound so nice. Too bad it's so damn cold.

Today I didn't run but I pulled out the old jumprope for 15 minutes of rope-skipping to keep the calves engaged. Hadn't done this in over 10 years but it felt strangely productive and winded me pretty quickly. I think I have a new off-day routine.

4.5 mile recovery run from my ball freezing run yesterday afternoon. Its sunny, not so cold, fresh layer of snow on the trails....too bad its going to be a winter nightmare over the weekend.
