aww dude, tell me about it. I was interviewed on TV a while back (sorry, I'm an internet TV star too) and was watching myself after thinking 'damn, I sound southern British'. Two British girls I know even had me in their phones saved as 'Matt - English'. These are not pleasant experiences. I need to reinject some Crocodile Hunter into my accent.

You know what's really weird, is that I don't think we've ever spoken. I can just tell you don't speak Aussie by the way you type. You don't think like an Aussie anymore that's your main problem.

I always just kind of figured you had my bedroom bugged.

So what does an Aussie 'think like'? I've still got the laconic, sardonic thing happening, no doubt about that, but between the US, Singapore and here, I have lived the majority of my adult life outside Australia, so I'm not surprised...

Well, if I really wanted to, I could probably stealth watch you from your MBP's webcam. But I really don't care.

You probably close the lid when you aren't using it, or it's facing a wall or something boring anyways. I can't really pin down how you don't "think" like an Aussie. But I know it when I see it.
