1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Both excellent ideas.

No, it resets those counters automatically, otherwise the database would have to be gigantic.
Is it possible to enable manual marking unread then? So that when a user opens a big old thread with all posts auto marked 'read', he can manually mark say, post #40 all the way to the last post as a way of bookmarking..

Sorry, nothing like that without significant programming (i.e. very unlikely).

Is my new avatar small enough to be acceptable? Will change immediately if it isn't.

I think that that avatar is too *small* to be acceptable.

    The mgmt. (aka the midget).

Not sure if this has been discussed, but the time that shows up for posts and PMs is 20 minutes slow compared to the actual time.

    Thread?

Of course, maybe they are fcuknu's socket puppets pretending to be the scammer's sock puppets . . . [IMG]

    Thread?

    This thread
I particularly like the one attempt by one sock puppet to speak in another voice.

If you break the very simple rules, especially in B&S, and get dinged, please don't send me indignant emails and get into a big huff when you don't get to skate completely.

If you get a light slap ($50 to charity) instead of a $300 fine, you might say "thanks" rather than getting angry that I didn't write you back saying "Dude, you're right. I'm so sorry for being a big meanie."

    That's all.
