And something new, lots of pics, enjoy :
why the sole so barren though?
oops,
oops, that's the way it should look like, when done right...
That outsole is very clean and well done...and that cleanliness is a real tribute to the maker. But it has also been either scraped or sanded and it does not appear to have had any wax applied after scraping.
I love the latest balmoral post.
why not?
I don't like them too....
why not?
No nail show at bottom of heel,
If I understand you correctly, I don't agree.
I think a seamless back looks good on a one cut, and even if it is personal taste, I like to see a nicely done seam. Some also argue that it is easier to have a perfect fit with a seam at the rear
I love the latest balmoral post. I do agree with Luk-cha (Ay329 swallows hard and proceeds)...that I prefer the throat area to have no stitching like on this G&G pic: http://centipede.web.fc2.com/gandg3.html
it''s just nicer to see it in the virginity. i like to wax and buff it myself.

Really dont like.....the way the back is stitched, the Delos back is neater.
It shouldn't affect fit as the leather, no matter how it's stretched, is stretched over the same last. Seamless back will make pattern-making very difficult, and many shoe makers will not do it.
