Which one of the sleeve styles (raglan or normal) is considered the original? I think they are both classic looks in their own right, yet raglan sleeves if done right are a nice touch. They add something distinctive to the jacket. I mean how many jacket styles have raglan sleeves? I have a short biker style jacket and a rain coat with raglan sleeves, that's it.

Rain coats like Aquascutum's often have raglan sleeves.

i would guess that both are fine in terms of authenticity. mine form HS has raglan sleeves but I know I've seen tons of photos of normal set in sleeves as well. I think it's really up to personal preference. I think the raglan sleeve is way more interesting though. especially if you aren't doing tone on tone.

I can't wait for the results of the 1'st run. It's delayed slightly by sizing issues apparently.

This is true--they're sending fit samples.

I MAY open it up for a few more orders once we get the fit straight.

I'm so upset I missed the deadline to order. I signed up on styleforum a little while back just to get this jacket, but I haven't been following the thread. I hope you are able to include a few more orders later or perhaps do a second run.

I doubt u can wear that in -20 degrees in TO. You going to freeze. Its more of a fall jacket.
