Suede shoes in the summer time?

I'm a holster maker. Yeah the other side of suede is...leather. Suede is the inside of the animal's skin. And I think it looks best in the summer. Maybe not for the sweltering days but ok during the morning and evenings. And it is easier to brush the sand out of the suede than give the leather a nice polish.

I use to only wear vintage adidas trainers all summer. But as the rest of my attire is changing so is my footwear. I'm going to try nice sandles and colorful suede mocs this year.

It's just a matter of preference.

Phatguido has a great look because it is original and personal...
His look is also adapted to the environment Phatguido is evolving in...
Most people on Style Forum are following canons established by some elder statesman without questioning their rationality in certains situations.

Big, dark suede boots look too heavy for summer, to me. And PG's shoes are plenty light and summery-looking, even if somewhat dark in color. The style of shoe, the socklessness, the white trousers more than make it work.

Also, remember that PG can make a chain wallet look good.
