Carla won (one of the three items they had to make was a cocktail, she made a non-alcoholic spritzer with cranberry and lime I think), Jeff was resurrected, then promptly killed again, and unfortunately team Euro was broken up and Fabio went home.

Wow, it's hard not to believe this show is rigged. Seriously, would anyone actually go to a restaurant and spend $$$$ on Carla's food?

Stefan was crap. He deserved to go home. Carla won b/c she cooked the best food overall. I might have given it to Jeff based on what I saw, but who knows without tasting. Jeff certainly put in the effort and put out a good product based on the judges comments.

And the quote of the day goes to either Padma or Gail (can't remember which), not Fabio this time.. "it gave me the tang I look for at the end of the day"

Not sure why all the hate for Carla. She seems to be putting in really consistent food in these final episodes. May not be so inventive but doing great somewhat simple food can be more difficult than something more experimental IMO.

Because sometimes you can have too much pizzazz!

She definitely started out slow and has come alive though.

What? No. Any idiot can throw some alcohol together and people will enjoy it because we're all alcoholics. To make a spritzer that people enjoy as much as an alcoholic drink shows more talent than what the other people did.

He was entertaining, but he underperformed again and again (aside from last week).

I don't quite get it either. I would guess because she didn't come across as a serious competitor in the beginning, sticking to deserts which were not always good. And she's kooky. But she's won a number of challenges and the people who can actually taste the food have been giving her very high praise.

+1. I hope she wins it. She seems to be a really strong cook, and it's nice to see a competitor who handles difficult challenges without bitching. Good attitude, FTW.

I'd be happy to see Hosea and Stefan *****-slap each other into oblivion. They're both jackasses.

+1 on Carla

Hosea and Stefan looked like marsupialed twins at dinner, both wearing what looked like the same outfit more or less

They should have kicked out Stefan. I think the only thing that's keeping him in there is the fact that he won so many challenges in the past. How does Fabio go from winning the last challenge, which involved a group of well-known chefs loving his food, to getting kicked out?

Anyway, Stefan is a douche and tries too hard to be "europoean." Hosea is an even bigger douche. So, I hope Carla wins.

+2. Plus she is the only one with a sense of humor. Hosea and Stefan are too self important.

Hosea is annoying. His constant declaration that he has what it takes to be top chef is like someone constantly saying he's not gay. If you have to say it that often, it's not true.

Didn't think I'd say this, but now that Fabio is gone, I hope Carla wins as well. She seems like a genuinely nice person and seems to be making great food these last few weeks.
