Today I had to send my SExSC06s off to have a crotch repair and to get them hemmed with a chainstitch.. and I miss them already. These jeans... were a part of me. A part of my life. From the gigantic crotch bulge to the unique back pocket fades. All me.

I wore an old pair of Rag & Bones today and I wanted to tear them off and burn them. They felt alien and ugly, like someone elses gross cast offs.

I feel like a mother sending her 12 year old off to camp for the first time. A wife left behind when a soldier goes to war.

I know in the end they'll come back better, stronger, faster.. but the wait. Oh god.

I felt the same way when I would switch it up by wearing my atrocious Academi straightleg denim. Total ball cleavage and what looked like elephant legs compared to my APC ns, needless to say I only 'switched it up' a total of about 3 times

I know how you feel. I also get anxiety when I have to give up my old jeans to wear new ones no matter what they are. Even if my old ones were ****** $20 levis that I wore for a month straight without washing, I still always miss them when I have to start a new pair of jeans.

three and a half and its starting to fray. it could last another month, but I don't want it to explode in the wash/have to pay more to have it fixed later. the irony is its frying along the edge where 'crotch reinforcement' is sewn in (wtf?).

I don't like the reinforced crotch. It's like in Tommy Boy when Chris Farley's selling brakes and makes the argument that a box with a guarantee is a guaranteed *************. Not that the jeans are ****, It just makes you expect a blow out.
